MEET THE CHEF

DEPHON ROBINSON

Chef DePhon Robinson is a Hospitality and Culinary Ambassador with the goal of providing unique, high quality culinary creations, consulting and event services. 

Chef DePhon has earned contrasted educational accomplishments, he holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Morehouse College and a Master’s in Molecular Biology and Genetics from Indiana University. As DePhon continued his education and his passion for hospitality, he received a Certification in Hospitality Management. After taking a break to partner with local farmers to establish sustainability models and healthy choice eating seminars, Chef DePhon continued his education with Graduate Studies in Global Hospitality Management at Georgia State University. 

Chef DePhon prides himself on providing unparalleled catering and craft services. He has established relationships with Tyler Perry Studios, The Steve and Marjorie Harvey Foundation, Bravo, WE tv, TBS, Monami Entertainment, Ernst & Young and The Southern Company making him the “go to” option when the job requires culinary experiences with passion. DePhon has provided personal culinary services for several high-profile clients including Tyler Perry, Queen Latifah, Gabrielle Union, Grammy Awarded Singer Monica, Lil Wayne and Olympian of the Century, Carl Lewis.

Building close ties with the community, Chef DePhon’s overall mission is to create customized culinary experiences using the freshest local and seasonal ingredients. Partnering with the City of East Point, Morehouse School of Medicine and the Metro Atlanta Urban Farm, Chef DePhon is able to target the “food desert” problem facing our local community. He also designs cooking demonstrations and sources produce from the local organic farm to educate our youth and their parents on how easily the fresh food can be sourced and prepared. This civic engagement has proven to be informative and fun for both the parents and the youth. 

He holds a keen belief that Food is Art, which is displayed in every pristine presentation with the innovative approach to surpass your catering vision and titillate your taste buds. Evidenced by the motto for his company EDGE: Everyone Deserves Great Experiences.
